Don't Be Ashamed of Your Story - Others May Be Inspired By It
Everyone has a story, don' be ashamed of yours. We don't know what other people are or have been going through. Most people wear an invisible mask to hide their true emotions and feelings.
Many great movies have been made because of someone's emotional or inspirational true-life story. Why not put pen to paper and tell yours. You don't have to publish it, but it may help you to heal, release negative emotions, reduce anxieties and free you to move on to bigger and better things.
Always remember, you are not your story and your past doesn’t define you. What happened to you in the past is not an indication of your future. You have the power to start fresh and make the ending beautiful. Just like a movie.
Once you have written your story, show it to a trusted friend to see what she/he thinks. Is it cinematic? Could it be made into a film or a play? Many life stories have been adapted into a screenplay and even went on to win an Academy Award. Why not yours? If your life story touches people emotionally, educates them or inspires them, start writing.
