Deborah Alessi, the Scottish born entrepreneur and CEO to several international brands always had a keen interest in health and beauty. Her charity rescues victims of domestic violence and human trafficking as well as helps victims of other violent crimes such as acid attacks by providing life-changing plastic surgery and emotional support to build up the victims’ self-esteem after surgery.
Through Face Forward’s annual celebrity-studded black-tie gala dinners in Beverly Hills, this multi-faceted philanthropist has raised millions of dollars over the past ten years to be able to pay for the victims’ pro-bono surgeries.
We all know that it takes a village to make great things happen. As such, Face Forward International has a large number of substantial Board of Directors in place to carry the cause of this philanthropic organization to all corners of the world. One of them is actress/producer Christina DeRosa who serves as Chairwoman of Face Forward International supporting Deborah in the important work to be done.
